
Proposal Criteria
1.1 Analyse the requirements of a creative media production project.
Before you begin production you will need to reflect on your progress and achievement throughout your time on the course.

What are your key strengths and what are your career ambitions?

How can your strengths help you with your production? E.g. writing, designing, filming, editing etc…
Once you have decided on your theme and idea you will need produce a written proposal (350 words) for your final creative production project. You must review your progress and achievement throughout your time on the course, consider all skills, knowledge and understanding. Explain the concept and justify your decisions of your developing idea. You also need to state how you will evaluate and review your project.
(You will be provided with a project proposal template).

What skills have you learned from your previous units? E.g. photography, editing, creative writing etc…that are going to help you develop your Final Major Project?

What do you think your biggest achievement this year? E.g. learning new Photoshop skills, being able to organise a production etc…

How has what you have learned on the course helped influence your idea for your FMP and chosen pathway? For example I have developed my camera skills therefore, I want to advance these further by creating a short film…

What primary and secondary research are you planning to undertake to help support your ideas and development? For example if you are doing photography you could research professional examples, inspirational photographers etc...

What qualitative and quantitative research are you going to conduct? For example: QUANTITATIVE DATA e.g. facts and figures e.g. if your theme is on the environment and human impact you would need to know what percentage has been destroyed by mankind etc…

What do you aim to produce? E.g. Short Film, Trailer, magazine, animation, game etc…
